@Gargron @gabek also i don't understand how "everyone has to build support for them" is a complaint, because isn't that how everything is by default? you have to implement stuff, it won't implement itself. the only way to save reimplementing something is if you all use the same library in the same language

@mal @gabek it's not even a fork though. it's a new feature using activitypub. we cant assume that Create Note is the only valid usage of this network. it's fine to Create Question, and other implementations handle it however they may, same as masto converts Create Article or Create Video into simple statuses.
